Today on Alternate Reality...

Sometimes my dreams include people who I haven't seen in a long time, and I don't know where or why my mind has pulled them to the fore. Other elements are clearly inspired by things happening in my life or from books or movies I recently watched. This dream has incorporated both.

Ryan (from high school) is killed in an accident - gruesomely he is decapitated. The dream starts out terribly sad. I don't even hear about it until after his funeral, which I find on Facebook. It is a tragic story as he is leaving behind a fiance and many friends who mourn him. I am very upset in the dream. Astoundingly they have decided to try a new technology on him and they bring him back to life.  When I get a chance to see him, the plot has thickened, and we are in the midst of some kind of turmoil. However I do have a moment to embrace him, I'm so glad he is alive and whole. 

We are part of a group of people that is looking into the "factory" where he was ostensibly healed. There are rumours that the technology is being abused. We manage to sneak inside but have to hide in production cells when workers come by. By the time we manage to get out of them we are coated in a strange clear thick slime. We realize that the other cells are full of clones. The clones (men and women) are being mass produced to work as labourers and worse (as servants for the rich). This is not traditional cloning and the people come out as adults - some even seem to retain memory of who they were.
