On my mind

The number of times that my employers of the past four years are in my dreams is interesting to me. Where random celebrities come from I can't explain - but at least my employers are my friends. I couldn't even name the last Jack Black movie I've seen!

This dream seemed to go on for a very long time, but a lot of it was conversations and interactions between all of the different characters. Unfortunately much of that sort of thing is lost in the fog of the morning waking up. The dream is set in two places. A huge conference with dignitaries from all over the world and a strange loft group living space that you could only gain access to through a series of vertical chutes. (Those inside could also deny you access by preventing the hidden doors from opening).

The conference centered around three characters, a visiting dignitary from somewhere, a USA dignitary (the hosting country) and the USA dignitary's aide (who was part of the loft group). The visitor was a gentleman, but was wearing a mauve coloured knit outfit that looked like a dress. The aide complimented him on his attire. After shaking hands and parting, the USA dignitary was pleased but chided his aide for bringing up the dress ("You shouldn't have commented on it") as he was afraid it was cultural attire and he might have been insulted. He took it back later when he saw the dignitary happily embrace his aide recognizing him as a friendly face and a supportive ally.  (The aide throughout the span of the gathering would wear a formal grey suit when on duty, and more feminine attire when off duty).

The "loft" was a cozy, beautiful space with retro furnishing and decor. There were multiple floors, lots of common areas and spacious living quarters tucked throughout. Mostly transgendered, genderqueer and transvestites lived there, and randomly Jack Black was living there too. (Perhaps he was only living there temporarily while making a film, he was good friends with some of the long-term residents.) It seemed some people lived there permanently and others were there part time.

Other than the obvious, I really don't know where my brain came up with this whole idea.
