Cetacea

October 12, 2010   -----------------------------------------------------

I dreamt Eric (EcoClub/Caribou/Dogwood) was part of a team of activists and scientists that was proposing a solution for water clean-up. It was both non-invasive and would have no harmful side affects. (Though it may possibly have been more expensive and take time). [This would apply both to Oceans and Rivers, including one with Hippos]. After presenting, a company representative went in to make his proposal. We were all pacing outside the room, in a hallway with large windows and light from the beginning of the setting sun was streaming in. Dr. Carter was there too. We were anxious because we knew, or were afraid how this was going to go.

The man who was deciding did not give us his decision, but we could tell he was leaning towards the company “solution”.

I was on my way home, and I noticed a lot of people hanging around (there must have been a concert or some event that just ended), by now it was much darker. I saw Ryan (Y.), but I didn't want to tell him what was going on and I decided to avoid him. I went to go into a building, but he caught sight of me.

Then I met up with my Dad, he had found a sample package of ours and something else of mine that I had left somewhere and he gave them to me. He was going to leave but decided to go with me for a bit.    (In my dream I was on an overloaded open-air “bus” sitting with my legs dangling over the road and crazy partiers behind me). I think my Dad was riding a horse beside me.

It was dark, but I started to notice nebulous coloured clouds in the sky. There would be blooms and flashes of colour and they would go dark. It was breathtaking. Then we saw shapes moving in the sky, and both the nebula and auroraborealis effects got brighter and more frequent. Eventually we could see that the shapes were pods of whales. Before we could even fully comprehend what was going on, air craft came and began attacking the largest of the whales in each of the pods. I was wracked with grief and cried.

In the shades of the end of my dream it was decided that the activists/scientists would work together with the company to find a real solution.
