Back to the Future

*direct from notes.

Dec 1 2010  -------------------------------------------------

The dream starts out at Riva & Andrew's store, the dream takes place in the future. The future is a strange blend of underground progress, insane cowboy frontier, and pretentious high culture. Riva and Andrew are very famous, though they live fairly low key, preferring to participate mostly in the underground movement. They still dress to fit with the high culture, which looks a lot like extreme fashion with a dash of emo (bright and dark versions). A goth looking girl recognizes them from a magazine (with R, A and John Frosst) featuring them as being part of an elite group called the fifty-plus, frifty plus or thrifty plus?? I'm not sure if this was a high or underground group. But they were part of important groups in both. The store was packed with stuff, and people. Lots of beige coloured raw food shaped like objects.. I was getting off work, this was on the edge of the “city” district. There was a deserted swath of barren land lying between the city and a forest of some sort.

Somehow I met up with an adventuresome-cowboy-hat wearing type man, not sure if I was friends or not with him before. (I think there was one other person with us). We were out in the barren land, there was lots of old junk and debris around. There was a fringe group out near the forest, we might have been going to check out what was going on. But there were red tails and black eyes that we had to be wary of. Somehow we made a mother red tail angry and she charged us. We sheltered under some debris. That is when I became aware I was dreaming and started to enjoy the (now danger free) thrill of the attack, I vividly saw the red and tan spiked tail smashing at our dubious shelter. That is all I remember.

Red Tail – large (rhino sized) tan spiked armdillo/ankylosaurus creatures red all over with a spiky smashing tail, young are not spiked and are tan in colour.
Black eye – large creatures with black markings
